Today is a holiday, so I’m concerned that if I went live today and goofed, I might not have backup advice available from my host. Tomorrow it should be there.

Turned out that was one of my smartest moves. I messed up pretty bad and it took a lot of hand holding from tech support to get me past my ignorance (not about WP but about the host).
